48,891 - Largest number of total votes (between 4 seats)

In alignment with her values, Alissa wants people to KNOW they have a voice, to know how to access it, and be empowered to use it. Voting is the most underutilized POWER that a community can wield. Don’t let your voice be silenced.

In this election for ISD 621 School Board, our goal is to be a part of the LARGEST turnout in history. The Secretary of State website [link to sos election results page in a new page] shows the largest number of votes was 48,891, between 4 seats (est ~12,223 voters). We have 4 seats up for election this year, too.

THAT’s the goal. More than 48,891 votes… This means a HUGE push to help people register to vote, to understand early voting, to know who and what they are voting for and why it affects and it should/may matter to them.

Alissa believes so deeply in voting, that even if your vote does not fill in the circle by her name, she celebrates your courage and effort in using your right to vote anyway!

Let’s get the vote out. Encourage your friends to vote. Drive your neighbor to an early voting location. VOTE.
